I never really got to know Carla as a personal friend, but i was lucky to of found Kerry! Every time that i saw Carla, she would smile, and these happy thoughts are the ones that i will personaly remember!

Until March 2004, when we moved to Ashton-under-Lyne, we lived two doors from Carla and her family.  (Our daughter, Melanie, now 26, is a past pupil of BB and her birthday is the day before Carla's).  We remember Carla going to school or passing by, smiling, full of bubbly personality.  We heard the shocking news late yesterday evening and found it difficult to comprehend).  Sometimes words seem inadequate however, we want to express our sincere sympathy to all the parents so cruelly touched by this tragedy, and all the friends and teachers of Carla and her companions on that sad night.

I was so shocked to hear about this tragic loss and my thoughts have been with Kerry and her family over these last few days. I know that Carla meant the world to Kerry and we often used to chat about her sister. I will always remember Carla as the friendly face in year 8, when I was in year 6. I still have a note that she wrote to me telling me about her friends, it's so sad that something so terrible has happened to such a lovely person. My thoughts and prayers are with carla's family and friends. Close

I cant believe how sudden this all is and how it has effected so many people, you were looked up to by lots of people and wil be missed so much, you had such a beautiful smile as everybody thought and it makes me sad to think i will never see you again. i never really knew carla very well but i do know that she was very close to kerry, kerry always came into school telling me about what the two of them had got up 2 over the weekend etc, laughing and joking! 
i know that kerry is really upset about what has happened but i think that she is taking it very well. i am making sure that kerry is ok and i am doing my best to help her by letting her talk 2 me about how she is feeling and comforting her telling her that it is all going to be ok. i know that no-one will ever replace carla as a sister to kerry but all of us will try our best to help kerry and her parents get through this time. 

kerry is one of my best friends, she is one of the nicest girls i have ever met and if carla was anything like kerry is she will be greatly missed by everyone. 
Everybody knows that life will not be the same without you, i know that kerry will always feel that little bit 'incomplete' because her big sister has gone from her life at such a young age. she will cherish memories of you carla and im sure that is all she needs to carry on.

           you where one of the most loviest people i have evr met and im so glad i had the pleasure to be your friend. You where willing to help anyone at school whether they where stuck with school work or just needed a cuddle you where always there for me and everyone. I cant believe youre gone carla. Ive known you since day 1 of primary school and ill never forget how much of a kind and caring person you are! You had a heart of gold and everytime i saw you, you always had such a nice smile on your face that would warm the hearts of everyone!

         I didnt know you personally very well but kerry is one of my best mates and I hate seeing her feel so much pain cos I love her to peices. I know she feels lost without you as you were her big sister and the person who she trusted and would speak to about her problems, so I promise you i will look out for her always and make sure she never gets messed about, I know its not as good as having her real sister but I will do my best. I know I cant take away the pain she feels but I can hope that you will watch over her and be behind her every step of the way through her life, and I hope although she cant physically see you or speak to you, she will still feel as if you there. I will make her the auntie of my children lol cos I know its something that she was looking forward to being when you had your children, so it will be the next best thing at least. She is being so brave and strong and I am so proud of her, I promise to try and keep her laughing and being her happy self.
