I remember in primary school you and Claire were always together with smiles on your faces and that never changed. You were somebody who everyone was happy to be around and you had a kind nature that everyone recognised. You have left a big gap in many people lives and you will be sorely missed by all who knew you.

My speech on Thursday 6th July
Carla and I were very close, as close I believe as two people ever could be. We shared so much together and understood each other so well. Carla was and forever will be the person closest to my heart. She was so pretty, everyday I spent with her I felt privileged to be where I was.
Carla is the most kind hearted person I have ever had the fortune to have met, but what made her so special was the fact that she always had time for the people around her and would always do her best to help in any way she could.
Carla was a giver and from her natural unique qualities found herself rewarded in many ways. For example the effort she put in to guarantee a place at LincolnUniversity can only be looked at in ore.
In no direction of her life would she put only half an amount of effort in, if Carla was involved it was for sure that 100% effort was always given. It was from this that everybody knew what a major success she was always going to be.
As I have heard said many times over the past few days,
“All that knew Carla, loved her”
I find this statement particularly true for a girl I consider the best.
Carla’s presence alone felt like a gift in which now I can see as the greatest gift that could ever be given. Her presence in which I feel is so strong can still be felt inside of us all today.
You touched everyone that you met in such a special way, myself alone, you transformed into a person who believes in himself and also believes that if you could see him in the future he would be someone who you would be proud of. This is why I see that any success that may come my way would always stem from you.
I would do anything to see you again Carla, to look into those beautiful green eyes I would give the world. If my life was ever to even have half the potential yours did I would be forever happy.
Carla was a fun, always happy positive person. She would call me cute and the first time I said it back I was stunned at her response, she said to me that she had never been called cute before but I would like to say for the record that Carla was the cutest person in the world. Nothing could compare to her cuteness.

Without Carla I feel a huge void inside of me but with the aid of many friends and family I have felt shielded from a certain amount of pain and I am sure that anyone else who is also feeling this loss will say the same thing. I would like to thank everyone who has helped me through this difficult time. I would also like to thank the school for their tireless efforts that have gone into fulfilling the needs of everyone. A special thank you I would like to give as well is to Mr Osbourne who I feel has dealt with all issues surrounding the accident tremendously and respectively to us all.
All of our thoughts rest with the families of the victims of this tragic incident and our hearts are filled with the deepest sympathy for you.
Thank you everyone for being there on Thursday, thank you everybody for leaving messages on this website, and thank you to anyone who has shown their respect in any way to the 3 girls who deserve it the most.

First of all I would like to say how sorry I am your family is having to part with a precious daughter. I didnt know your daughter nor did I know your family but, I do understand about having to say good bye to a daughter...My daughter Elizabeth Miller was only 19 serving in the Army when she was taken...She was taking in head on collision an God took her instantly...You know it doesnt matter the kind of way each child goes the pain is still aweful....I understand how it seems to break your heart in a million pieces but, thank God the Lord is there to help hold those millions of pieces together and mend them one by one...You know some look at it as there child is gone forever but, that is not true...Our children have just gone home and to a home they never have to worry at and no one will ever harm them....I know it hurts not seeing them and when you go to their room and break down but, Thank God we can go to their room and remember all those beautiful memories they put upon their walls or the things they left laying around...Hold close those memories because they will help you I PROMISE....I go to my daughters' room and see picutres of the beach and things she had made hung on the walls and her favorite stuff animals...I say these things to you trying to let you know dont shut her door and shut out those memories thinking it will help you because it want...I know it will be painful to go over the past but, in one way it really will help you.....I read a poem one day that said when a loved one goes to heaven they continually dwell with the Lord and when we go to pray Jesus continually dwells with us...SO if Jesus is with us as we pray so is our child close by also...That made me feels so good knowing Buffy was close by...I really believe this too...As a mom you know your daughter and their is a bond so close between a mom and daughter like you know when your daughter isnt feeling good or if she is needing something....I can go to my daughters room and I feel her sooo close like she is just watching over me saying mommy it is going to be fine...I am sure your precious daughter is feeling the same toward you and her family...Please do remember God loves you all and he will never walk away I know it might feel like hes not listening but, he is....I will be praying for your family...I am sorry to of taken up so much room and I hope something I have said helps you thru your pain...God bless you all...Darla mommy of Elizabeth Miller Close

I deeply know what you and your family is going through. Matthew was my only child. My partner and as you know our life and future. We know our lives will never be the same for any of us in our families. She is truly an angel and with my son. There should be a rule that young people should not die. We live in this new night mare and our lives are now changed for ever. We now live day to day to get through. Our missing will be for ever. When I 1st saw Carla I immediatley knew "she is so far out of my league" & instanly knew i would never have a chance, the 1st words she said to me as i stood on a balcony over looking our office was "what the hell are you doing?" i lead her by the hand and showed her the view i was admiring & that was the 1st time i saw her beutifull smile. we aventually got moved on to the same team at work & spoke for hours whenever we were on the same shift it took every ounce of my courage to ask her if she would like to join me for a drink after work & utter disbelief took over me when she said yes. We starting seeing each other after being inseperable for 3 days at Simons house party i was still scared to tell Carla how much i care for her but when i aventualy did it made my year to hear her say she felt the same way. I’m so grateful to have survived but to live a life without you is incomplete to me. You were so very special to me. I loved the way you smiled, your positive attitude and the way I could make you laugh. Even though I have really known you since we were four, the last two years we had become very close and you and the rest of the gang have given me the best years of my life.
To say one great moment between us is impossible, everyday with you was a great day. From the fun day at your house before Xmas, rolling around on your mum’s exercise ball, to the “paintball” nights and us making a BLT and sunbathing when we should have been revising. I loved our nights out and how we wanted to dance in Faith and I am glad we all got to do that one last time. I will always remember our last day together, especially when “By The way” came on as we jumped, shouted, sung and laughed, it truly was an amazing feeling and I am glad I got to share it with you.
Everyday a new memory pops up which either makes me sad or laugh. I’m so sad that we will never get to make that horror movie this summer, forming S.C.A productions with you and Sarah was great. I loved your enthusiasm for the music, tv programmes and media that I liked too and our endless discussions about certain things is something I will treasure. I shall never forget that. You could be so enthusiastic about even the small things like buying chocolate raisins from Tesco.
